CyberC is an international conference on network-based Distributed Computing and Knowledge Discovery. Distributed computing and knowledge discovery technologies have received extensive attention in both the academia and the industry with explosive growth of computer and network systems. Recently, various hardware and software architectures, algorithms, protocols are developed for distributed computing in an interconnected and distributed network environment. The purpose of CyberC is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of innovative ideas, research results, applications and experience from around the world as well as highlight activities in the related areas. The conference focuses on all aspects of distributed computing and knowledge mining and their scientific, engineering, and commercial applications. Major topics incude:

        • Data Mining
        • Distributed Computing
        • Tools and Performance
        • Mobile Computing

The technical program of CyberC 2009 will consist of invited talks, paper presentations, and panel discussions. CyberC 2009 will be held in Zhangjiajie, China, on Oct. 10-12, 2009, in conjunction with Intelligent Computation Technology and Automation (ICICTA-09). Zhangjiajie is a rising tourist city in China and is famous for its unique natural scenery and abundant tourism resources. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992.

 

Outstanding papers will be published in the journal of Information Systems Frontiers. The invitations for journal submiaaion will be sent out by the end of October 2009 and the targeted special issue will be published by 2010.
